Ransom is a blonde palomino 9 year-old ex-bucking horse standing about 15.2hh and weighs about 1200lbs. Leads, loads, lunges, ties, hobbles, ground drives, stands for farrier. Has about 15 rides in and out of the round pen. Wants to be a pet, great work ethic and extremely quiet for the limited work he’s had thus far. Nearly perfect conformation - I get asked how he’s bred almost every time I take him out. Athletic, smart, and willing, would make an awesome project for someone with experience.

Hauls like a dream and absolutely floats when he moves. Ties, leads, loads, good for farrier. Good with dogs, vehicles, cattle, etc. Easy to catch, blanket, and handle. Eager to please, likes being brushed, scratched, and generally worked with. Has been brought along slowly.

I wish he was just about any other color, but when he’s clean you can see his 4 white socks and big blaze. Darker in the summer, lighter in the winter.

UTD on feet, shots, Coggins, etc. Nice hard feet. Sound, doesn’t require any maintenance or special care. Located in Bondurant, Iowa.

Stands for mounting, needs a bit of work on the whole stop/go/steering thing but he’s coming right along.

Gets along well in the pasture, middle-bottom of pecking order. Very tough, very easy keeper. Clean legs, as athletic as you could want. Catty, balanced, and sure-footed. Lovely suspension and natural carriage.
