Kratos is a 12 year-old black grade gelding standing about 15.1hh. Beginner safe trail horse, not quite finished in the arena. Has hunted 1st flight and led 2nd flight. Green to fences, but an absolute dream in the field. Neck reins, has gathered and pushed cattle in the pasture and sale barn. Quiet, level-headed. Has been cowboyed in the past and does not need to go to someone who will rough-ride him. Kratos is very patient and forgiving with beginners, kids, and mixed signals, but is fearful of sharp/angry reprimands. Trail master, crosses what’s in front of him. Loves water, is our go-to for dragging reluctant colts through tough country. Happy to lead, follow, will ride out alone or away from the group without issue.

Kratos is sure-footed and brave. Happy to work gates, get left behind, and catch up to the field without getting hot or silly. Has jumped less than 20 fences, but gets braver each time. No dirty ducking, and has started giving leads to hesitant horses over smaller coups. Very honest horse. 3 smooth gaits, stays underneath of you. Quiet and easy in a simple snaffle. Doesn’t mind the hounds running and jumping around him.

Knows his leads, still working on nice, balanced rhythm in the arena. Much happier to collect and extend on the trail, working on translating those skills to the ring.

UTD on teeth, shots, Coggins, etc. Easy keeper, is currently shod for hunting but goes barefoot just fine. Nice hard feet. Sound, doesn’t require any maintenance or special care.

Has started tracking the roping dummy. Will happily work cattle but has a bad history with ropes around his head. Gets quieter and happier every time we go to roping practice. Has been at the sale barn working everything from rank cows to water buffalo.

Trail horse extraordinaire, our go-to for new riders, or dragging reluctant colts. Does extremely well covering rough country, Kratos is brave, thoughtful, and sure-footed. Ties overnight, hobbles, packs, ponies, pickets, etc.

Kratos has nice clean legs and lovely, tight conformation. Flawless ground manners, bathes, ties, loads, backs out of the trailer, hauls well, hobbles, is good with his feet. Fine with cattle, ATVs, kids, farm equipment, other spooking horses, etc. Traffic safe for road riding. Gets along with everybody in the pasture.
